Winifred Irene Porter

Winifred Irene Porter, 94, of Cumming, Georgia, died January 28, 2012 at Embracing Hospice, Cumming, Georgia. Ms. Porter was a native of Easley, S.C. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Gainesville, Georgia. A devoted wife and mother she was also in sales for the Rich s Department Store for nine years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fletcher Dorsey Porter. She is survived by a son and his wife, Robert and Peggy Porter of Cumming, GA; grandson and his wife, Jason and Allison Porter of Dawsonville, GA; grandson, Brad Porter of Cumming, GA.; great grandsons, Jake and Jax Porter; niece and her daughter, Linda and Marissa Donker of Cumming, GA. A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, January 30, 2012 at Sawnee View Gardens, Cumming, GA, with the Rev. Bruce Fields officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday, January 30, 2012 from 12:30 2:00 p.m. at McDonald & Son Funeral Home, Cumming, GA.
