William Thomas Kramer

–

Cumming, Georgia

William T. "Bill" Kramer, 71, of Loganville, Georgia, passed away from a heart attack on Monday, October 26, 2020.

He was born in New York, New York to Nicholas and Muriel Kramer. After moving to Hollywood, Florida at an early age, he graduated from McArthur High School and began a career in construction. He moved from carpentry to sales of concrete for Lonestar and Tarmac concrete. It was at Tarmac where he obtained the contract to provide concrete for the construction of Joe Robbie Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida, which he considered one of his "coolest" achievements. Playing into his love of travel, he then embarked on a career in long-haul trucking with MS Carriers and Swift Transportation. At Swift, he was awarded medals for Safe Driving Miles, another feat that he was very proud of. After leaving the road for good, he took a position of orientation and training with Swift, where he touched numerous lives with his fastidious nature and deft wit.

He retired to his home in Loganville, where he enjoyed a love for birds (bluebirds especially), the outdoors and fishing.

He is survived by his two sons Nick and Rob, their wives Jen and Shawna, his two grandchildren Mary and Paul, as well as nephews Joey and Michael.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations in his name be made to the following:
