William "Bill" Harold Harvey

William Bill Harold Harvey, 78, of Cumming, GA passed away on April 20, 2012. Born in Pembroke, GA he was the son of the late Will and Ruthie Lee Harvey. He is also predeceased by his brothers, James B. Harvey and the late Honorable Judge John Robert Harvey. Bill graduated from the University of Georgia and worked as an accountant in the Financial Department of General Motors Lakewood until retirement. He is a member of Cumming First United Methodist Church, where he enjoyed being a teacher in the Sort of 50 s Sunday School Class. He is survived by his wife, Sylvia Honea Harvey of Cumming, GA; daughter and son in law, Cheryl and David Dilworth of Cumming, GA; sister and brother in law, Betty Jean and Gene Head of Anthem, AZ; sister in law, Olivia Harvey of Pembroke, GA; granddaughter, Ellie Dilworth of Cumming, GA; and his nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, April 23, 2012 at Cumming First United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 4:00 7:00 PM. The Rev. Kathie Stasko will officiate. His final resting place will be in the Black Creek Cemetery in Ellabell, GA.
