William Davis

William (Bill) H. Davis, 87, of Gainesville, Georgia, passed away on March 11th, 2025.

Bill was predeceased by his loving wife, Mary. He is survived by his daughters Kerri (Jamie) Wishert of Roswell, GA and Missy (Richard) Sidwell of Cumming, GA, his sister Myrna Grave, brother Jerry (Linda) Davis and his grandchildren Katie Wishert, Will Sidwell, MJ Wishert, Tripp Wishert, and Elizabeth Sidwell.

Bill and Mary celebrated their retirement by moving to “the pond” after his successful career as an airline pilot and Lieutenant Colonel in the Armed Forces.

Bill loved his family more than anything in the world and was especially proud of his 5 grandchildren, Katie- “Katiebob”, Will- “Buddy”, MJ- “the J’er”, Tripp- “Tripper”, and Elizabeth- “Woo” and also most affectionately he referred to as “Lizziepie”.

Bill always had a strong enthusiasm for physical fitness, loved working out at the gym and truly enjoyed watching all sports specifically the Atlanta Braves.

Our Dad was the anchor of our family and will be so dearly missed by all.
