William "Bill" Charles Beyer

William "Bill/Papa" Charles Beyer, 73, of Brooklyn, New York, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, September 21, 2021. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Wilbur and Jacqueline Beyer. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Jo-Ann; their children Jennifer (Shelby) Pennix, Scott (Heather) Beyer, and Lauren (Jonah) Andrews, and his true joy in life, his six grandchildren Cole & Jake Pennix, Ella & Merrily Beyer, and Emma & Gavin Andrews. He was the oldest brother to Richard Beyer (Laura Sayers, Patricia Dinelli), Kathy (Mike) Drahos (Michael Drahos, David Drahos, Shane Drahos) and Susan (Fran) Burke (Fran Burke, Meghan Badke).

Bill played baseball for and graduated from Seton Hall University in addition to being enlisted in the Army Reserves. After 28 years of ownership, he retired from Business Equipment Center of Atlanta (BECA) in 2016. In his spare time, Bill loved playing golf at Laurel Spring Golf Club, watching his favorite sports team (Atlanta Braves) and most of all, spending time with his family. One of his biggest accomplishments was being a father. He was always there for his children, through their milestones and celebrations, and taught them to always put family first.

The family will be holding a funeral on Friday, September 24 and asks that any donations made in Bill's honor go towards American Heart Association.
