Warren Ross Grosland

Warren R. Grosland, age 75, died at his home August 24, 2022, after a long illness.

After his elementary and high school education in St. Ansgar, Iowa, he was drafted into the Marine Corps, where he served 14 months in Viet Nam. Upon his return to civilian life, he joined his family who had moved to Wisconsin. He and his wife Jean, moved to Cumming, GA in 1986. They were later divorced. Warren had a passion for many things, and spent his life doing many jobs, such as a welder, a mechanic, a car salesman, a carpenter and a grader operator. He owned and operated "Grosland Grading." Warren was preceded in death by his parents, Adolph and Esther Grosland, and an older sister, Marie "Rusty" Williams. He is survived by a brother, Norman, and a sister, Laura Grob, and brother-in-law, Gerald Grob. He is further survived by 4 nephews, Tim Grob, BJ Grosland, Travis Grosland and Elliott Grosland.

Per Warren's wishes, there will be no funeral. Private military interment will be in Georgia National Cemetery, Canton, GA, at a later date. Condolences may be sent to a Veteran's group of your choosing.
