Wanda Lorene (Box) Talkington

Wanda Talkington, resident of Cumming, Georgia passed away April 7, 2023 at the age of 87. She is survived by her step son, Terry Talkington and his wife Catherine of Roswell and step daughter Karita Wright of Cumming. She resided with her grand daughter, Dawn Slaughter and her husband, Rob of Cumming along with great grand children Isaac, Jake, Ella Marie, and Will Slaughter. She was preceded in death by her husband, Verlin; son in law, Alvin Wright; and grandson, Ryan Talkington. She attended First Baptist Church and was dedicated to her faith. The ocean was her favorite place to be, specifically in Monterey, California, listening to the waves crashing. She loved her family deeply and will be greatly missed.

Graveside services will be held at 3:00pm on Wednesday, April 12th, 2023 at Sawnee View Gardens.
