Walter (Gene) Vawter Jr. age 54,

Senior Field Service Engineer 3M, Motorcross Enthusiast, Avid Traveler, Music Aficionado, Atlanta Falcons Fan, Comedian at Heart, Devoted Son, Brother, Nephew, Uncle, Friend to All and Loving Husband sadly passed away on April 24, 2024; with his Loving Wife, Karey Vawter, by his side.

Most people are either dog people or cat people, but Gene was both. He loved dogs and cats equally and they loved him. This embodied the essence of his character.

Born in Atlanta, Georgia; on January 15, 1970, to Walter G. Vawter Sr. and Deborah J. McDonald, where he was raised in the Atlanta area, attended The University of West Georgia, and lived with his wife in Cumming, Georgia.

Gene is survived by his Wife Karey L. Vawter; Father Walter G. Vawter Sr.; Stepmother (Barbara Jean); Brother Gavin R. Vawter (Nadeen); Mother Deborah J. McDonald; Sister Sara Helbert (Allan); Brother Stephen (Zach) Morgan; Sister Rebecca Scott (Jared); Brother Timothy (Jake) Morgan; Brother Charles (Josh) Morgan (Channing).

He leaves to cherish his Memories:

The Arntson Family: Mother-in-law Sharon, Michael, Heidi, and Heather (Tom).

The Kelly Family: Dr. Nathan Kelly, Wife Katie Kelly, Goddaughter Adeline G. Kelly

In addition to a considerable number of Beloved Family Members and Friends.

There will be no public funeral. However, there will be a celebration of his life to be announced at a later date, in his much-loved North Georgia Mountains.
