Virginia Jenny Lee Page, age 82, passed away peacefully on June 16, 2010 in Cumming, GA. Mrs. Page resided in John s Creek, Alpharetta, GA. Born July 16, 1927 in Bowling Green KY, Mrs. Page was the daughter of Edna Jackson and step daughter of Webb Jackson. Mrs. Page grew up in Kentucky and married her childhood sweetheart, Leonard V. Page who passed away July 7, 1997. The couple traveled the world together as an Air Force Family, residing in England, Japan, and numerous US states and then settling in the Atlanta area. She found great pleasure in spending time with friends who remained in close contact from their travels, time with her family, and teaching a life group bible class. She would study for hours on end in preparation for her work. Never one to impose her beliefs on others she was quick to share the gospel though when asked. She was both a student and a knowledgeable source of the Bible at once. Mrs. Page is a published poet whose works can be seen in International Society of Poets publications. Her poetry runs the breadth of Allegory to Free Verse. Virginia is survived by her son L. Van Page and wife Carol who reside in Alpharetta, GA,and daughters Lynn Page, Alpharetta, Vivian Lee Thomas and husband Konrad, Dallas, GA, and Vicki DeLong and husband Will, Knoxville, TN. She was also the proud grandmother of Lori, Jamie, Kimberly, and Chris, and great grandmother to Ashley. Mrs. Page is interned along with her husband at Arlington Memorial Cemetery, Sandy Springs, GA. The family gives special thanks to all of the support from friends and family, for the special care and treatment provided by St. Joseph s Hospital, and for Embracing Hospice making her as comfortable as possible. We also give thanks for the unselfish care provided by daughter Lynn during the past year. Jenny Page: The best Mom ever .
