Virginia Chastain

Virginia Dale Chastain (Shirley) was born on November 5th, 1945, welcomed to the world by loving parents William and Margie Shirley, who both have preceded in her death. She married Howard Chastain in 1959 who has also preceded in her death. They had two living children, Steve and Kevin Chastain, 4 grandchildren, Cory Chastain and wife Tiffany, Crystal Truelove and husband Joel, Lindsey Thomas and Courtney Chastain, along with 9 great grandchildren.
Virginia had many brothers and sisters; her brothers were Bill, Ronnie, Billy, and Wayne Shirley who all preceded her in death. And living Charles Shirley. Sisters included Lucielle Mason, preceded in death and living Christine Pritchett, living.
Virginia lived the majority of her life in White County, a native of Sautee Nacoochee Valley the majority of her life. She was a member of Old Nacoochee Baptist Church and sang in a gospel group called Disciples for Christ. She also worked in the garment industry and Babyland.
