Vera Frazier

Vera Valencia Frazier, age 91, of Cumming, Georgia, passed away on January 18, 2021. She is preceded in death by her parents: Willie Mae and Reverend Walter Lee Hindmon; son: Jerry Clarence Davis; and siblings: Walter Lee Hindmon, Jr, Dottie Hindmon, Charles Hindmon, and Reverend Lois Hindmon.

Vera is survived by her son: Donn Lee Davis of Buford, GA; daughter: Dareline Fuertes Kowalsky and son in law (Ron Kowalsky) of Cumming, GA; daughter in law: (Sheila Davis) wife to Jerry Clarence Davis of Sugar Hill, GA; brother: William Hindmon (Joy) of Galveston,TX; sister: Melba Hindmon Cook (Reverend Vince Cook) of Chattanooga, TN; grandchildren:and name sake Jacqueline Valencia and name sake Vera Victoria; great-grandchildren: Amelia and Veronica;and her Dad previously departed (Ashton Lindsey) and nieces: Donna Jo Hindmon Banks, Lindsey Hindmon Harris and Phyllis Hindmon .

Vera was a gospel singer, enjoying duets with her brother Walter. She was a Sunday School teacher, an active youth in her father's ministry. She collected dolls and antiques. She loved music and dancing with her husband. She worked with an orphanage in Smyrna Ga multiple years. Her door was open to all. She had a sparkling humor she shared, she was a devoted mother and grandmother. She adored her cat Mr Toodles, She retired as married, a grandparent and a great grandparent.

Vera's family will receive friends Saturday, January 23, 2021 at 10:00 am before her funeral service at 11:00 am at McDonald and Son Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Pleasantview Baptist Church Cemetery.
