Cumming, Georgia
On November 8, 1988 God sent Tyler Colin Brown to us. On July 7, 2023, God took Tyler back home. We will miss Tyler dearly, but we are so grateful for the time we had to spend with him. We will always feel his presence in our hearts.
Tyler was born to parents, Terry Millwood Brown and William Robert Brown at Northside Hospital in Atlanta Georgia. His early years were spent in Cumming, Georgia. Tyler loved his big brother Bradley and the excursions to GG's home and the many adventures with his cousin Taylor. Every year for Halloween he dressed as a different army guy. Tyler loved his Legos, Pokemon cards, trains, paint guns and hats. Every adventure came with a hat: a train conductor, a Davy Crockett cap, army hat or fireman hat. By far, his favorites were his baseball caps. He had quite a collection of caps which would usually be seen worn backwards. Please, let us not forget as he became an adult, his beloved camo crocs, sunglasses and his eclectic taste in music to say the least.
Tyler attended Lake View Academy and graduated in 2007 where he received special recognition for Best Sense of Humor (as He did every year since 8th grade) Tyler had a quick wit, a sharp sense of humor that was so uniquely his own. He could make you laugh, and sometimes annoy the hell out of you. He attended North Georgia and Sydney Hampton colleges.
Tyler loved cars and trucks. He and his dad spent hours rebuilding a 1965 Ford Galaxy. His baby, however, was his black Chevy truck which he affectionately called Razor. He loved that truck!
Tyler also had a love for his horses, Smoke Wagon and Country Grand. Tyler and his dad were members of the National Steeplechase Association. Tyler rode as a junior rider at several steeplechases including Calloway, Aiken and the Carolina cup. He won blue ribbons and money!
Tyler absolutely loved his mom and working with her at the family business, The White Fox Cottage. Tyler loved the land, the venue and poured his heart and soul into his work with his mom and Stepdad, Joe. Tyler and Joe did many things together and became best buds. He loved the people that he worked with, touching everybody's lives and making it a point to make all those he encountered to feel special and important. He showed up, had your back and gave those in need a helping hand. He made many friends and earned the respect of the people he worked with at the venue and considered them family.
Tyler was a young man of faith and knew Jesus as his Lord and Savior. He made an impact on many lives and will be forever missed.
Tyler was survived by Mother, Terry Millwood Stapp, stepfather Joe Stapp, brother Bradley Dolan. Grandparents: Catherine Millwood, Gloria Dudash Brown and Louise Stapp. Aunts: Brenda Brown Hinton, Sandra Harrison, Geneva Brown and Lou Wright. Uncles: Jeffery Brown and Russell Brown and his many cousins.
Tyler was predeceased by his father William"Bill"Robert Brown, his grandfathers, William Hugh Brown, William Millwood and uncle Joseph Millwood
Till we meet again!
In remembrance and celebration of Tyler, the family ask you pass along an act of kindness, a smile and lend a helping hand to someone in need as Tyler would have done.
