Obituary for George Frank Beck III
George Frank Beck III passed away on April 28, 2026.
He is survived by his wife, Kristy Beck; his sons, Kolby Beck and Tyler Beck; his grandchildren, Kameron Beck and Carley Mutton; his brother, Kevin Armstrong; his sisters, Kimberley Beck(Darrell Flanagan), Julie Cantrell (Jason), and Sonya Rider; his Ma and Pappy, Kathleen and Junior Armstrong; his aunts, Mildred Woody, Pat Burgess, Traci Timms, and Debbie Rider; his special friend, Harold Armstrong; and his nieces and nephews, Hailey and Jack Drum, Camron Journigan, Logan Journigan, Austin Grizzle, Victoria Rider, and Tori Giles.
Trey lived life his own way and was a simple man who loved what he loved, including his appreciation for the simple comforts in life—especially his herbs.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Armstrong; his sister, Tonya Welch; his uncle, Junior Rider; and his brother, Chad Beck.
Trey was a welder by trade and a hard worker who believed in earning what he had. He found peace in the simple things—fishing at his nearby pond, watching the Georgia Bulldogs, and enjoying life at his own pace.
He had a quick wit and never held back. If you were around Trey, you were going to laugh. He spoke his mind and stayed true to who he was. That was just Trey, and the people who knew him wouldn’t have changed him for anything. He was the kind of man who would do anything for anyone and give the shirt off his back without a second thought.
He was everyone’s friend, whether you knew him for years or just met him. What you saw is what you got.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His laughter, his presence, and the memories he leaves behind will never be forgotten. Trey was one of a kind, and there will never be another like him.
