Tommie Raye Murphy

Tommie Raye Murphy, 73 of Alpharetta, GA passed away, Saturday, June 25, 2011 at Embracing Hospice , Cumming, GA, with her children by her side. She was a member of St. Mark s Lutheran Church in Tucker, GA. Tommie loved working with children and was active with the CDC Youth Association, PTA and Girl Scouts in Clarkston, GA. She was a dedicated homemaker who raised four daughters. She was a loving Mom who cherished her family. She is preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Hazel Edinger. Tommie is survived by her daughters and sons- in- law; Colleen and John Kerlin of Johns Creek, GA, Cathy and Tom McFalls of Lawrenceville, GA, Cindy and Chris Morris of Cumming, GA, Caren and John McAleer of Marietta, GA; sisters, Judy and Ed Morrison of Rex, GA, Lynda Edinger of Lavonia, GA; eleven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. The family will hold a private Memorial Service for Tommie at a later date.
