Tola Gardner Jenkins

Tola Gardner Jenkins 88, of Alpharetta, Georgia went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on September 9th, 2015. Tola Gardner Jenkins was born in Bethune, South Carolina, on July 10, 1927 to Foster and Ruby (Josey) Gardner. She married her beloved "Charlie" Charles Herbert Jenkins Jr. on December 24, 1948. They were married until his death on October 26, 1992. Tola was blessed with two children: C Roby Jenkins who passed away on January 3, 2006, and Debbie Jenkins of Alpharetta, who faithfully cared for her mother. Tola was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her son and her brothers. She is survived by her daughter Debbie Jenkins of Alpharetta. Tola entered into heaven from her home where she was faithfully cared for and loved by her daughter Debbie and friends Jane Gravley, Mary Jane Grant, and LaVerne Truett. Her spunk and wit will be missed by all who knew her. Visitation will be Sunday September 13th from 1-5pm at McDonald and Son Funeral Home. A graveside service will take place at a later date in Ashburn, Georgia.
