Titusville, Florida

Thomas Charles Whitlock, age 72, of Titusville, Florida, passed away on May 31, 2026.

Born on February 7, 1954, in Passaic, New Jersey, Tom was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend whose kindness, humor, and love for his family left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.

Tom grew up in Edgewater, Florida, spending his early days surfing, playing baseball, and enjoying the Florida sunshine. After college, he settled in the Atlanta, Georgia area, where he raised his family and built a successful career. Tom dedicated more than 30 years to the grocery industry, retiring from Kroger after a distinguished career marked by hard work, leadership, and lasting friendships. Upon retirement, he returned to Florida's Space Coast, where he enjoyed a well-earned retirement surrounded by family and friends.

Tom was an avid supporter of Liverpool Football Club and rarely missed the opportunity to watch a match. Whether cheering on his favorite team, teeing it up on the golf course, or gathering with family, Tom found joy in life's simple moments and treasured the relationships that made life meaningful.

Above all else, Tom loved his family. He was a proud husband, father, and "Pops" who treasured every opportunity to spend time with those he loved. His guidance, encouragement, sense of humor, and unwavering support will remain a cherished legacy for generations to come.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Eileen Whitlock, and his sister, Terri Sauers.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Nancy Whitlock; his children, Collin (Amanda) Whitlock, Meghan (Matthew) Chester, and Evan Whitlock; and his cherished grandchildren, Cate, Gatlin, McCall, Madeline, Mackinley, and Myles. He is also survived by his siblings, Jim (Colleen) Whitlock and Debbie (Jerry) Tordeur, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will miss him greatly. Among those mourning his loss is his beloved dog, Emma, who was a constant companion throughout his retirement years.

Tom was deeply loved and respected throughout the communities of Titusville, Bremen, and Dahlonega. His friendship touched countless lives, and his memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

The family asks that those who knew and loved Tom honor his memory by spending time with family, sharing stories, supporting one another, and finding joy in the simple things that brought him happiness.

Though he is no longer with us, Tom's love, laughter, and example will remain with all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Thomas Whitlock will be dearly missed and forever remembered.
