Thomas Edward Schie Sr. Obituary (1954 - 2024)

Thomas Edward Schie Sr. was born June 28th 1954 and passed away May 11th, 2024. Tom came from a large family. He grew up in Ohio where he was one of 7 siblings; Linda, Karen, Kimmie (deceased), Gayle (deceased), Nancy and Jimmy. He was loved by many nephews and nieces as well. It was in Ohio where Tom met his wife, Kathy. They were married 47 years. Tom and Kathy moved down to Georgia in 1983 to start their family. Tom is survived by his wife Kathy, and son, Tommy and three Grandchildren Porter, Griffin and Reagan. Tom was a beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Coach, Builder, Hunter, and so much more. He loved coaching at Collins Hill Park where he was president of the park for many years and was awarded the National Youth Sports Coach of the Year in 1998. Tom loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He will be greatly missed. The service for Tom will be held at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 3740 Holtzclaw Road Cumming GA 30041 at 1pm on Friday May 24th.
