Thomas M. Mitro, 87 Born March 24, 1935 in Bridgeport, CT. Graduated from Stratford High School in 1953

Later in Life: Associates Degree in Law Enforcement, Greenfield, MA 1975

He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Constance Plucinski, a son Paul S. Mitro of Jeffersonville, VT, a daughter

Predeceased by son Lawrence T. Mitro,

3 granddaughters, Breanna Light & Greg of Monument, CO, Lauren Mitro of Cumming, GA, and Alexis Darrow & Bobby of Virginia Beach, VA,

2 great granddaughters, Avery & Addison Darrow of Virginia Beach,

and a brother Michael Mitro of Stratford, CT.

He owned & operated the Towne Pastry Shoppe in Wilmington, VT. He became police officer & deputy sheriff in Windham County, VT. Tom was also a volunteer fire fighter in Wilmington VT.

After traveling in his 5th wheel RV for 7 1/2 years, made his home in Cumming, GA for the past 10 years.

Memorial services will be held on March 25th, 2023 at 11:30am in the chapel of McDonald and Son Funeral Home. A reception will follow in the community room of McDonald and Son Funeral Home from 12:00pm - 3:00pm.
