Thomas Burton Hicks, Sr.

Thomas Burton Hicks,Sr.,age 83 of Cumming passed away on Wednesday July 14,2021. MR. Hicks was a veteran and served in the United States Army as a Medic. He worked for Lethem Time Recorder as an engraver and retired in 1988. He was a member of Union Hill Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents Jesse and Katie Lee Hicks.

Mr. Hicks is survived by his devoted wife of 62 years,Martha Miller Hicks of Cumming,children and spouses,Susan and Randy Honea,Sr.,Tommy and Peggy Hicks,all of Cumming. Grandchildren and spouses,Randy and Amanda Honea,Jr.,Lauren and Tim Jackson, Renee and Aaron Storey,Rebecca Hicks and Chip Hicks,Great-grandchildren,Layla and Haley Jackson,Riley Honea and Kaleb Storey. Brother, David Hicks of Roswell, Ga and Brother and Sister In Law Jerry and Barbara Hicks of Woodstock. A number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday,July 17th at the Chapel of McDonald and Sons Funeral Home with the Dr. Scott T. Gilbert officiating. Graveside service will be held at 2:30 at Greenlawn Cemetary,Roswell GA. The family will receive friends at McDonald And Sons Funeral Home on Friday from 3:00 to 5:00 and 6:00 to 9:00 and Saturday from 9:00 am until the hour of service.
