Will Bennett of Canton, Georgia, Matt Adent of Atlanta, Georgia and Kate Adent of Suwanee, Georgia . 5 great grandchildren - Stella, Novalee and Aurora Forche, Fowler and Ford Adent.
Teresa and Everett were faithful members of Briarlake Baptist Church, Decatur, Georgia. Upon moving to Forsyth County in the late 1990s, they joined Johns Creek Baptist Church where they worshipped and served faithfully.
Teresa loved and continued supporting Hawaii Baptist Academy, Honolulu, Hawaii. The people of Hawaii and those she met from around the nation because of HBA were so dear to her. She and Everett were both so proud to have had a small part in helping the children of Hawaii hear the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Teresa is largely responsible for founding Bennett Graphics in Tucker Georgia.
In 1968 Teresa visited her brother in law, Larry Bennett. She had taken time off from AT&T to deal with the final weeks of her pregnancy.
Teresa told Larry that she didn’t want to go back to AT&T after the baby was born. They needed to start a family business. Larry knew a little bit about printing. Teresa decided that was good enough. They called her husband, Everett, and told him they were starting a business. They needed him to buy a printing press.
Everett went along with the suggestion and Bennett Graphics was born.
Teresa was irresistibly charming and very persuasive. One of her many duties at Bennett Graphics was collecting money. She was impossible to say no to. She collected lots of money and made great friends in the process. Teresa’s love for her work and company were evident.
She was every employee’s mom.
As much as she loved her work, her husband and family, her greatest love was for her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
