Ted H. Giles

Ted Hill Giles, 80, of Cumming, GA passed away on August 25, 2010 at Embracing Hospice in Cumming. Born in Atlanta, GA, he was the son of the late Fred and Helen Giles. Mr. Giles served in both the United States Navy and Air Force. He relocated to Cumming seven years ago, moving from Roswell. He worked with Lowe s selling building supplies. He and Jenny are members of Cumming Baptist Church. He is survived by his loving wife, Jenny Giles of Cumming; children, Denise (Ralph Hawk ) Hawkins of Canton, GA, David (Debbie) Giles of Snellville, GA, Pam (Schaffer) Hilton of Alpharetta, GA, and Tarran VanDeWark of Sugar Hill, GA; grandchildren, Lisa and Justin Turner, Amy Giles, Taylor Giles, Devin and J.R. Lee, Heather and Mark Ayers, Alex Hilton, Grant Hilton, and Devin VanDeWark; great-grandchildren, Lexi, London, and Bryce Lee, Noah, Hannah, and Jonah Ayers. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, August 28, 2010 at McDonald and Son Funeral Home with a reception to follow. Dr. Barry Crocker will officiate. Flowers will be accepted, or in lieu of flowers donations may be made in Mr. Giles name to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org.
