It is with a heavy heart that we inform you of the passing of Mrs. Talitha Klingberg on Sunday, November 23, 2025.
Talitha was passionate in her personal relationship with Jesus Christ, her Lord and Savior, and overflowed that love into her life as a devoted wife and mother. After raising four children, she took that motherly care and a lifelong concern for people who are in need and pursued a career in social work. She obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Georgia State University and a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Georgia and was licensed as an L.C.S.W and C.C.A.T.P.
She began her career as a social worker first with Caduceus, a contractor for the C.D.C., then transitioned to Right Side Up Recovery Center a part of MARR Addiction Treatment Center where she worked with women and professionals seeking to restore their life in recovery. Her most recent position was as an individual therapist with Focus Forward Counseling and Consulting, Inc providing support for those who wanted to overcome barriers to create their best self. Her professional expertise was informed by her belief that Jesus brings peace and guidance into every situation.
In her personal life, her family was her crowning achievement. She was able to see all four children grow into successful adults in their respective careers and families. She was incredibly creative, compassionate for all living creatures, appreciated art and nature, and was an avid reader who passed on these traits to her family. She used her art to engage others in their faith, promote growth as individuals, and to share the beauty of God’s creation. While in the Master’s Degree program, she was invited to join other students and instructors on a trip to Ireland, which was formative in developing her passion for helping others reclaim their identity and she felt connected to the beauty of the people and nature. After raising their children, Talitha and her husband enjoyed trips to North Georgia, Tennessee, and North Carolina to enjoy waterfalls, hiking, and horseback riding. Their favorite place for respite was at a resort in the North Georgia mountains.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Kris Klingberg; her beloved children, Sam (Amanda) Klingberg, Jessica (Joshua) Rasco, Sarah (Cody) Allen and Allyssa Klingberg; and her cherished grandchildren – Avery and Theo Klingberg, Rosalie Rasco and Owen Allen. She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Freya Rasco.
