Susie Joy Pulivarti

Susie Joy Pulivarti passed away peacefully on December 13, 2022 at the age of 86. Susie Joy was born in Karickam, Kottarakkara, Kerala, India on November 22, 1936.

Susie Joy was preceded in death by her loving parent's Pastor Sakariah Nathaniel and Aleyamma Nathaniel. Susie Joy is survived by her three sons, Reginald Pulivarti and his wife Joyce Pulivarti and her granddaughter Ritika Pulivarti; Rajiv Pulivarti and his wife Bridget Pulivarti and her granddogs Sammy and Rocky; and Ronald Pulivarti and her granddaughter Natalia Pulivarti and her grandcat Bree; her siblings Pastor C. C. Nathaniel, Dr. Phillip Nathaniel, Dr. A. Catherine Purushothaman, Leela Unnikumaran and Thambiraj Nathaniel.

Susie Joy was a dedicated, proud and loving mother to her three beautiful sons. In 1980, she immigrated from India with her family to the United States, settling in

Maryland. There she raised her sons while working at the Washington Adventist

Hospital and Prince George's Hospital. In her retirement, she spent as much time as she could with her grandchildren, crocheting, and practicing and sharing her faith in God. She was a devout Christian and was always seen carrying her cherished bible and heard singing her favorite hymns. Susie Joy was always a witness for God's love and salvation. It gives the family comfort knowing she is now in God's care. She will always be remembered with a big smile, kindness, and joy.

Memorial services will be held at Burnt Mills SDA Church in Silver Spring, MD on

Sunday, December 18, 2022 at 11:00 AM ET. A viewing will be held 30 minutes prior to
