Susan Krueger

Susan K. Krueger, age 72, of Cleveland, GA, passed away on June 16, 2025, at a Gainesville Hospital. She was born October 6, 1952, in Mankato, Minnesota, the youngest of five children to Walter and Gladys (Reinhart) Krueger.

She graduated from Janesville High School in 1970. She attended Mankato State College 1970-1972. She graduated from the University of Tennessee, Chattanooga with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting in 1975 and a Master of Business Administration in 1982. She completed her Juris Doctor degree from Georgia State University in 1993.

Throughout her career, she worked at several accounting firms in Chattanooga. In 1986 she joined Cleveland, Georgia's Original Appalachian Artworks, Inc. (home of the cabbage patch kid) and was the Vice President of Finance. After retiring, she worked part time at H&R Block and as a Financial Secretary for the Good Shepard Lutheran Church in Gainesville.

She enjoyed baking, golfing, and traveling, having visited 6 continents and over 30 countries. She was of the Lutheran faith and a member of the Good Shepard Lutheran Church where she enjoyed volunteering and hosting fellowship hour. Her favorite Bible passage was the 23rd Psalm and favorite hymn was "Just as I am, without one plea."

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Thomas Krueger, sisters-in-law, Janice Krueger and Linda Krueger, and brother-in-law Harlen Renken.

She is survived by her brothers, William Krueger Sr. of St. Joseph, MO and Roger (Donna) Krueger of Eagle Lake, MN, and sister, Joyce Renken, Stewartville, MN and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Special thanks to her dear friends Ruth, Mary Lou, Janie, and Lili.

Per her wishes she will be laid to rest in Minnesota with a celebration of life at a later date.
