Sue Maloney Holcombe

Sue Maloney Holcombe, 88, of Cumming, GA died on October 30, 2012. Born in Conyers, GA she was the daughter of the late Luther and Mary Frances Maloney. Her beloved husband, Douglas Holcombe also predeceased her. Sue was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a long time member of Cumming Baptist Church. For more than 40 years she worked for Southern Motor Carrier. Her work colleagues were very important to her. But, her family was always most important to her. Sue loved living on Lake Lanier, digging in the dirt and growing her flowers. She is survived by her son, Robert (Marcia) Holcombe of Cumming, GA and much loved granddaughter, Melissa (Eric) Branen of Alpharetta, GA. Funeral services for Sue will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, November 3, 2012 at Cumming Baptist Church. The family will receive friends on Friday, November 2 from 5:00 8:00 pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Cumming Baptist Church, 115 Church Street, Cumming, GA 30040.
