Steve Hall

–

Dawsonville, Georgia

Steve Hall, affectionately known by many as “Pop-pop,” “Pops,” or “Old Man,” was a beacon of light and laughter in the lives of all who knew him. Born on August 25, 1971, in Decatur, GA, Steve’s adventurous spirit, funny wit, and courageous heart were evident from a young age. His early love for life’s many adventures only grew stronger as he matured, leading him to a fulfilling career as Superintendent of Specialty Services at HydroExcavators in the Pipeline industry.

Steve was a man of many passions. He had a deep love for motorcycles and Jeeps, a testament to his adventurous spirit and zest for life. His love for music was infectious and he was often the life of the party, his witty jokes and funny stories always leaving everyone in stitches. But his most cherished times were the weekends spent with his beloved wife of 37 years, Angela, his children, and grandchildren. Whether it was watching the Bulldawgs on a Saturday or embarking on new adventures with Angela, his family was his pride and joy. Steve was a man of unmatchable courage, his strength and resilience serving as an inspiration to all around him.

We mourn the loss of Steve, who is survived by his loving spouse Angela, his children Ricky (Kelsey) Hall, Judith (Mike) Gee, and Heather (Robert) Hardegree and his grandchildren Lexi (Dalton) Kennedy, Dylan Gee, Cohen Gee, Jacob Gee, Penelope Hall, Piper Hall, Sophia Hardegree, Ada Mae Gee, Toby Hall, Joshua Hardegree, and Josie Gee. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Diane Hall.

Please join us to celebrate Steve’s extraordinary life on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at the Dahlonega Funeral Home, 20 Gibson Road, Dahlonega, Georgia, 30533. The gathering of family and friends will begin at 1:00 pm EST, followed by a Celebration Service at 2:00 pm EST, and a reception at 3:00 pm EST.
