Stanley Ray Tenhouse

Stanley Ray Tenhouse, 69, of Cumming, GA died at Northside Hospital Forsyth on November 3, 2016. Born in Quincy, IL he was the son of the late Gerald and Ethyl Tenhouse.

Stan was a Vietnam veteran and was awarded the bronze star during his service. Whether it be working in the garden, bird watchting, or playing with his best four legged friend Indy, you could always find him enjoying the outdoors. When he was indoors it was probably because his beloved team The Chicago Cubs were playing on television. Stan was a die hard Cubbies fan and it was no surprise that he held on to see them win the world series.

Stan was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother who will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Stan is survived by his wife, Sharon Tenhouse of Cumming, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Heather and Jeffrey Wilson of Cumming, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Devon and Jordan Evans of Woodstock GA; Brother, Gary Tenhouse of Cumming, GA; Grandaughter, Riley Evans.

Stan was preceded in death by his parents; brother Wayne Tenhouse.

A celebration of Stan's life will be held on Monday November 7,2016 at McDonald and Son Funeral Home. Visitation to be held from 1:00-3:00 p.m. with service to follow at 3:00 p.m
