Silas Tarpley Lyon, Jr.

Silas Tarpley Lyon, Jr., passed away on February 24, 2022, at the age of 77. He is preceded in death by his parents: Annie Lusk Cox and Silas Tarpley Lyon, Sr.; stepfather, Egbert L. Cox; brother: John Lyon; and sisters: Ann Lyon Martin and Sue Lyon Dobson.

Silas is survived by his wife: Louise Minor Lyon of Marietta, GA; son: Adam Lyon (Jessica) of Woodstock, GA; daughters: Jennifer Lyon of Alpharetta, GA, and Heather Lyon Stanley (John) of California; and grandchildren: Alex Lyon and Sophia Poggi.

Silas graduated from Milton High School in Alpharetta, studied at Georgia Tech and Vanguard Tech. Silas worked in Avionics before owning Southern Keyboards for over 30 years.

The family will have a graveside service at Oakland Cemetery at a future date.
