With profound sadness and heavy hearts, we announce the untimely passing of dearest daughter Shreya Gowducheruvu on February 15, 2026. At just 22 years old, Shreya was a radiant presence whose life was defined by purpose, brilliance, and an unwavering kindness toward others.

Shreya was a fourth-year student at Emory University, where she was pursuing a degree in Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology within the College of Arts and Sciences. Her academic excellence was a testament to her dream of attending medical school, a path she chose out of a genuine desire to care for and heal those in need.

Beyond her many achievements, Shreya was truly full of life. She was known for being perpetually happy, friendly, and always the first to offer a helping hand to anyone who crossed her path. Her infectious spirit and vibrant personality left an indelible mark on her peers, her teachers and professors at Emory and FSA community.

While Shreya’s journey was tragically short, the legacy of her compassion and the memory of her bright smile will live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and the many lives she touched.
