Shelley Ann Schmidt

Shelley Ann McElligott Schmidt, 53, of Cumming Georgia, passed away 0n October 3rd, 2013. ?She was born in Detroit Michigan on August 30th, 1960 to Gene and Shirley McElligott. She was married to David Andrew Schmidt on September 25th, 1992. ?Shelley and David moved to Atlanta from Minneapolis MN in 1997 where Shelley worked as a Recruiter. Her husband David, Son Austin, Sister Sherry Vroman, Brother -in- law Glen Vroman, Nephew Justin Vroman from Phoenix Arizona; in laws Jerry and Judy Schmidt and Sister -in-law Rachel Schmidt from Atlanta, Georgia, survives her. Shelley has been a blessing and positive influence to so many in her short but profound life. We will miss her infectious laughter and her caring nature. Her generous spirit has enriched our lives and we will miss her greatly. Shelley will be laid to rest at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens 1390 Dahlonega Hwy, Cumming, GA 30040 Funeral Services will be held on Monday, October 7, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the McDonald and Son Chapel. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Garden. The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 6, 2013 from 5:00- 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made the St Jude Childrens Hospital in memory of Shelly.
