Shelia Dianne Blevins

Shelia Dianne Blevins, 56, of Alpharetta GA, passed away on December 11, 2009 in Johnson City, TN. Born in Johnson City, she was preceded in death by her father, John Bently Gregg. Shelia was an active member of North Lanier Baptist Church where she was a teacher in the Weekday Children s Ministry. She also had a degree as a medical assistant. A devoted wife, mother and grandmother, Shelia was also a lover of children and animals. She is survived by her beloved husband, David Blevins of Alpharetta, GA; mother, Gladys Hammock of Johnson City, TN; children, Kellie Marie Blevins (Andy) Durden of Cumming, GA and Katie Blevins of Alpharetta, GA; sister, Rose Gregg of Johnson City, TN; brothers, John Gregg of Johnson City, TN, Jim Gregg of Fayetteville, NC and David Gregg of Blanchester, OH; and grandchildren, Ethan and Alex Durden. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, December 18, 2009 at North Lanier Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Georgia National Cemetery. The family will receive family and friends on Thursday, December 17, 2009 from 6:00 9:00 pm at the funeral home.
