Scott Brown

Scott D. Brown, age 51, of Cumming, Georgia passed away on August 31, 2024.

Scott was born on November 16, 1972 to Dennis and Nancy (Potts) Brown in Morocco, Indiana.

Following high school graduation, Scott joined the United States Navy and was accepted into the Nuclear Power program. Upon completion of that training, he was assigned to the USS Theodore Roosevelt CVN-71 aircraft carrier.

Scott had a love for all things cars: old cars, fast and loud cars, auto racing and collecting Fiero cars.

Scott was also an organ donor.

He is survived by his parents, his sister Stacey (Walter) Raines and his nieces Kyra & Sydney Raines. He is also survived by his long-time partner Leigh-Ann Havins and her daughters Raicheal and Sloane Havins.

Visitation will take place October 6, 2024 from 1:00-4:00pm, and October 7, 2024 from 9:30-11:30am at McDonald and Son Funeral Home in Cumming, Georgia. Interment to follow on October 7, 2024, 1:30pm, at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Georgia.
