Sarah went home to be with her savior and Lord early Friday, May 6th, 2022. She leaves behind her daughter, Martha Atkins of Dahlonega, her son, Denver (Denise) Ricketts of Dawsonville and Grandchildren, Amber (Kyle) Balteff of Maine, Patrick (Rachael) Atkins of Alaska, Leslea Atkins of Clarksville, Richard (Amanda) Hopkins of Dahlonega, Kendra Ricketts of South Carolina, and Austin Dickson of South Carolina, as well as great-grandchildren, Damian, Nicholas, Thomas, Leeland, Brooklyn, Abigail, Memnoch. She also leaves behind her friend Edward Woody, Sister Dottie, Brothers, George and Jimmy. Several other relatives also survive.

Sarah loved her family, gardening, reading, and her dog; Yonah. She will be greatly missed.

Per her request, Mrs. Wishoun was cremated. A Memorial Service will be held on July 24, 2022 1-3pm at Auraria Community Club in Dahlonega.
