Sara Martin

The Family of Sara F. Martin announces with great sorrow that she passed on Saturday, November 25, 2017, to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Sara was 93 and is survived by her loving children, Gary and his spouse Pam, Jane, Deborah, and Randa and her spouse Mark. Additionally, there are six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Sara was predeceased by her husband, Bill.

Sara was a Teacher at Teasley Elementary School in Smyrna, Georgia, for 12 years in the Cobb County School System and retired in 1990 at the age of 66.

Funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, December 2, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. at McDonald and Son Funeral Home. Visitation will take place between 1:00p.m. - 2:00p.m. Burial will be at The Florida National Cemetery on Monday December 4th, 2017 at 12:30pm.
