Sandra Leigh Bennett

We regretfully announce the passing of Sandra Leigh Bennett (70) of Cumming, Ga on August 2, 2021. Sandi was surrounded by her family and passed away peacefully.

Our mother, was one of the most courageous, kindest and strongest willed women to ever walk this earth and our family was blessed to have her as the head of the family.

In 1967, she met former husband, Wes and together they went on to have three children. Sandi was a wonderful and loving mother who gave her all to her family. We will never be able to fill the space left behind by her.

Sandi was loved by so many. She was called "Momma" by so many people. She filled the role as a mom for a lot of kids through out her life. We are all better adults because if it.

She took no lip from anyone, held you accountable, loved you fiercely, and fought like hell to the very end.

Sandi was predeceased by her boyfriend Joe Vaughn , mother Betsy Merrell and her sister Gwen Merrell.

She is survived by her children Matthew Bennett , Heidi Bennett-Shirey and Wesley Shane Bennett. As well as Holly Bennett, Heather Bennett and Hope. And her grandchildren that called her "SASSY" - Raley, Jonny, Grace, Addasyn, Kyle, Chloe, Ryan, Maggie Grace and Cole.
