Sadra Joyce Mettee

Sadra J. Mettee of Cumming, GA passed away surrounded by friends and family on June 4, 2018. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, David L. Humple and son Christopher Franklin.

She is survived by her son Bradly Franklin (Lori Anne), daughters Becky Franklin Haas (Rob), Kathy Dill (Scott Lacy). Grand children, Josh Dill (Fawn), Erin Weisgerber (Michael), Julie Anne Franklin, Elliott Franklin, David Franklin, Cole Davis. And her loving brother Ray Brumbeloe (Barbara), several great grandchildren and her trusty canine sidekick Magnum.

Sadra was born in in Lagrange, GA in February 1941. She lived in Baltimore Maryland, where she met her soul mate, David. Together they moved back to her southern roots in Georgia. A doting grandmother, her life was full when she was with her family and friends. There is not enough paper to list all the people that loved Sadra and who she loved in return.

Visitation will be held at McDonald & Sons Funeral home on Saturday June 9 at 11:00 with a reception following at 12:00. Contributions in loving memory may be made to the Forsyth County Humane Society at Forsythpets.org.
