Russell Parrish

Russell Webb Parrish, born on October 19, 1935, in Stone Mountain, GA, passed away on April 6, 2026. A lifelong resident of Georgia, Russell spent most of his life in Dahlonega and working at the Tomato House. He brought joy to his customers and colleagues alike. He loved making people smile and sharing jokes. Those traits and his love for his family will be remembered by all who knew him.

He was a proud member of the Blue Mountain 303 Lodge and enjoyed spending his free time with his family; especially his great grandchildren; cherishing every moment spent with them.

He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Joyce Parrish, and his parents, Robert and Mae Parrish, sons Bruce and Mark Parrish and brother Waldo Parrish.

Surviving are his children, Joe Parrish and Liz Daniel, grandchildren; Taleah Turpin, Nick Parrish, Nicole Palacios (Domenic) and Megan Carden (Rick); great grandchildren; Jordan, Gavin, Noah, Mason, Molly, Adain, Ali, Tripp, Chya, Taya, and Braya.

Russell created a legacy of love and laughter that will be forever remembered.

A gathering of friends and family will be held on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at 12:00 pm at the Dahlonega Funeral Home, located at 20 Gibson Road, Dahlonega, Georgia, 30533. Following this, inurnment with Masonic Rights will be held at Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery, located at 366 Corinth Church Road, Cleveland, Georgia, 30528.
