Ronald Edward Lively

Ronald Edward Lively, age 69, of Dawsonville, Georgia, formerly of Kingsport, Tennessee, passed away August 5, 2010 with his loving family at his side after a prolonged battle with pancreatic cancer. Ron was preceded in death by his parents, Dillard and Jeretta Lively of Kingsport, TN. Ron was a retired project manager with CD Mechanical of Demorest Georgia. He lived a productive and adventure-filled life. He was a builder of tall buildings in his professional life and a beautiful mountain cabin for he and his devoted wife Marilyn. He was a lifelong lover of hunting and fishing and was a master of both, as well as an expert marksman. His other passion was following the University of Tennessee Football and Basketball teams. Ron was most comfortable deep in the forest and mountains of Western North Carolina and Eastern Tennessee. Ronald Lively will be remembered as a self-sufficient, hard-working and independent man. He is survived by his wife Marilyn Kearney Lively; daughter Wendy and son-in-law Mark Bowery; daughter Jacque and son-in-law Robert Riddle; son Shane Lively; son Clint and daughter-in-law Angela Lively; son George and daughter-in-law Elizabeth Fraqulis; son John Fraqulis and fianc e Amanda Ead; eight grandchildren; brother Jerry L. Lively of Kingsport, TN. The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 8, 2010 from 5:00 8:00 p.m. at McDonald and Son Funeral Home. A Memorial service will be held Monday, August 9, 2010 at 4:00 p.m. at McDonald and Son Chapel, Cumming, Georgia. Ron chose to be cremated with his ashes passed to his loved ones.
