Roger Leroy Adkins

Roger Leroy Adkins, 56, of Dawsonville, GA passed away on January 27, 2011. Born in Chamblee, GA, he was predeceased by his mother Pauline Adkins. Roger was a graduate of Roswell High School. He spent 2 years in the US Army and served in Vietnam. He followed Nascar and loved riding his Harley Davidson. Roger also owned and operated his own archery stores. He is survived by his wife, Teresa Adkins of Dawsonville, GA; dad, Royce Adkins of Jefferson, GA; son, Jason (Lisa) Adkins of Houston, TX; son, Lance (Jennifer) Adkins of Gainesville, GA; son, James Blalock, III of Marietta, GA; daughter, Jillian Boyd of Gainesville, GA; sister, Elaine (Patrick) Ewalt of Mayesville, GA; brother, Ronnie (Connie) Adkins of Alpharetta, GA; and grandchildren, Kylie Grace Adkins, Antonio Adame, Gage Adkins, and Michelle Adkins. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, January 30, 2011 at McDonald & Son Funeral Home in Cumming, GA. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Saturday from 3:00 5:00 and 6:00 9:00 pm.
