Robert Joyce

Robert T. Joyce of Cumming, GA, born in Monessen, PA September 19, 1928 Passed away peacefully on September 17, 2025. Survived by his loving wife Mary Ruth of 72 years, children Brian Joyce, Robert (Sheila) Joyce, son in law Gregory Riddle, Grandfather of Timothy Joyce, Megan (Ethan) Garber, Nicholas Malagon and Alexa Malagon. Great Grandfather of Abigail Garber and James Garber.

Robert retired as a Construction Foreman from Bell Atlantic (Verizon) in Pittsburgh, PA after 44 years of employment. He was an active member of St. Francis by the Sea Catholic Church as an Usher for many years. He worked as a Poll Manager and Clerk of Elections on Hilton Head Island for 17 years.

He was a kind and gentle man with a great sense of humor. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

A mass of Christian Burial will be held at St Francis by the Sea Catholic Church at 10 A.M. on October 7, 2025 followed by internment in the church columbarium.
