Robert McGregor Cooley

Robert McGregor Cooley, 78, of Gainesville, GA passed away November 11, 2012. Born in Humboldt, TN he was predeceased by his parents, Grady and Louise Cooley; and his sister, Edith Edwards. After graduating high school, Mr. Cooley proudly served in the US Navy aboard the USS Forrestal CV-59. He is survived by his loving wife, Marie Cooley; son, Chuck and his wife Lara of Woodstock, GA; son, Steve and his wife Cynthia of Cumming, GA; sister, Carolyn Norton of Memphis, TN. Mr. Cooley has six grandchildren, Ian, Emma, Andrew, Jordan, Matthew, and Jenna. Visitation will be held from 5:00 - 8:00 PM on Thursday, November 15, 2012 at McDonald and Son Funeral Home in Cumming. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, November 16, 2012 in the funeral home chapel. The Rev. David White will officiate. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens.
