Robert Chalmers

Robert "Bob" Alexander Chalmers, 86 of Cumming, GA passed away on Saturday April 1, 2017.

He was born on May 23, 1930 in Allston, MA the son of Edwin Alexander and Katherine Geiger Chalmers who have both predeceased him. Robert is also predeceased by his wife Barbara Leach Chalmers.

He is survived by his children; Blair Chalmers, Bonnie French, Beth White and Robin Chapman. Additionally he is survived by 5 grandchildren.

During his lifetime he served his country proudly in the US Army and went on to be the owner of his own company, Chalmers Inc.

The family will receive friends on Thursday April 6, 2017 from 1pm to 2pm at the McDonald and Son Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow in the funeral home chapel at 2pm. Interment will be at the Mt. Hope Cemetery in Dahlonega, GA.
