Rickey Lee Porter, 63 of Dawsonville, GA passed away Thursday, January 7, 2010 at Northside Forsyth Hospital, Cumming, GA. He was a loving and caring husband, father and grandfather. He retired from General Motors and loved to travel with his wife Frances. Rickey s best friend was his dog Pepper. He is survived by his loving wife, Frances Rainwater of Dawsonville, GA; children, Bruce Rainwater of Flowery Branch, GA, Gary Rainwater of Acworth, GA, Pat Moore of Oakwood, GA, Belita Piper of Gainesville, GA, Tony Rainwater of Lilburn, GA, Barbara Whetstone of Dawsonville, GA; brothers and sisters, Connie, Bonnie, Roscoe, Charlie, Gary, Delphine; 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Memorial Services will be held Monday, January 11, 2010 at 4:00 p.m. at McDonald & Son Chapel, Cumming, GA with the Rev. Rodney Owens officiating.
