Richard Lee Reynolds

Richard Lee Reynolds 83, of Dawsonville, Georgia passed away on Sunday, June 26th, 2022.

Richard was born on November 24th, 1938 in Portsmouth, Ohio to the late Clarence and Susan Reynolds.

Richard is preceded in death by his parents; Clarence and Susan Reynolds, daughter Susan Merrill; and his siblings; Vera Reynolds, Robert Reynolds, and his grandson Matthew Merrill.

Richard served in the United States Army. He also worked for The Dayton Ohio Police Department, The Montgomery County Coroner's Office for over 30 years, and was also President of the Dayton Fraternal Order of Police. Richard retired in 1995 and moved to Dawsonville with his wife Peg. Richard loved spending time with his family, in addition to fishing, boating, flying, travelling, gardening, bluegrass music, and he was also a Ham radio operator.

Richard is survived by his wife; Margaret (Peg) Reynolds of Dawsonville, Georgia.

Children; Debbie Howard, David Merrill, and Greg & Vicki Sims.

Brother; George & Sharon Reynolds.

Richard is also survived by his grandchildren; Toni Howard, Mike Howard,

Steven Merrill, Stephanie Merrill, and Paige Tanaka.

Several great grandchildren also survive.
