He was a passionate golfer and loved everything about the game. He was always involved in junior golf, mentoring many young players along the way. He started playing golf at a young age, spending his spring and summer days on the golf course. Rick was a 30-year Life- Member of the PGA, serving as Head Golf Professional at clubs in Alabama, Kentucky, Indiana, and South Carolina. Along the way they made lifelong friendships with those that welcomed them so warmly into each new community.
Rick loved and was involved in youth sports, supporting and coaching each of his four children. He retired in 2020, and still loved and played golf whenever he could with his friends and family. He and Marsha celebrated 40 years of marriage last November, taking a cherished family trip to Orlando.
