Richard Finegan

Richard Charles Finegan, 81, passed away peacefully on June 8, 2026, in Cumming, Georgia. Born on May 19, 1945, in Brooklyn, New York, Richard lived a life centered around love and his family.

He is survived by his wife, Diane; his son, Richard; and his daughters, Coreen, Heather, and Erin. Richard was a proud grandfather to 11 grandchildren and a great-grandfather to three great-grandchildren. Richard’s family was the foundation of his life, and his strength and love have forever shaped all whose lives were touched by him.

Richard was known for his witty sense of humor and the joy he brought to those around him. Among the many treasured memories shared by his loved ones are mornings spent enjoying his famous waffle recipe.

Richard will be deeply missed and forever remembered. May his memory bring comfort to all who were fortunate enough to know him.

A service will be held on Friday, July 10, 2026, at 1:00 PM at St. Brendan The Navigator Catholic Church, located at 4633 Shiloh Rd., Cumming, Georgia.
