August 23, 1971 to November 14, 2024

After a yearlong battle with cancer, Renée Michelle Ferriter, our beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully in her sleep on November 14, 2024.

She was born Renée Michelle Cox to Ron Cox and Carol Kern in Fort Benning Georgia on August 23, 1971 and was a devout member of the Catholic church throughout her life.

She is survived by her husband of 22 years Todd Ferriter, and sons Matthew and Michael of Cumming, Georgia.

She is also survived by her family in Florida, including her parents Ron Cox and Brigid Cox and Carol and Dave McIntosh, and her sisters Rhonda Olson and Rachel Cox.

Renée graduated with a degree in art history from Agnes Scott College and received numerous awards while working for the Bank of America, rising to become an executive recruiter. She was a dedicated volunteer for numerous organizations including the Catholic Church, American Heart Society, United Way and the Special Olympics to name just a few.

Sweet Renée, full of faith and happiness, was a graceful, refined and sophisticated renaissance woman with a beautiful smile, a kind and gentle heart, and an intense passion for life. She was a loving wife and partner, a dedicated homeschooling Mom, and a fierce protector of her children. She had an inspiring and joyous outlook on life and was respected, admired and adored by her family and friends. Renée will be dearly missed and remembered fondly by all who knew and loved her.

A Holy Funeral Mass honoring Renée will be held on Thursday November 21, 2024 at 1:00pm at St. Brendan the Navigator Catholic Church, 4633 Shiloh Rd, Cumming, GA 30040.

Visitation will be from 12:00pm-1:00pm

A Repast Dinner Reception to be held following the Holy Funeral Mass.
