Regenia Law Owen

Regenia Law Owen, 75, of Alpharetta, GA, died on November 1, 2020 in her home surrounded by her family.

Regenia was born February 3, 1945, in Atlanta, GA, to Glynn and Mary Law.

She attended O'Keefe High School in Atlanta, GA, graduating in 1963. She continued her education at Kennesaw State University, graduating in 1986 with a bachelor's degree in accounting.

Regenia loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, they were her pride and joy. She also enjoyed attending church at Shallowford Free Will Baptist Church, being out on the lake, playing cards, Bon Jovi concerts, productions at the Fox Theater and her career as an accountant.

She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Bobby Owen, her two sons, Lamar Owen (Tammy) of Canton, GA and Wayne Owen (Merrigail) of Cumming, GA. She also left behind four grandchildren, Lisa Owen of Canton, GA, Kelli Hewitt (Bobby) of Canton, GA, Ashlee Owen of Cumming, GA and Brady Owen of Cumming, GA and her loving brother and best friend, Randy Law of Hoschton, GA. Regenia was expecting to meet her first great granddaughter, Bella Rae Hewitt, in February, 2021.

She was preceded in death by her father, Glynn Law, her mother, Mary Law and her brother, Michael Law. Regenia requested to be cremated with plans for a small family ceremony.

The family will be planning a celebration of life in honor and remembrance of Regenia in the coming weeks. The details will be posted on social media once they've been finalized.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to Shallowford Free Will Baptist Church, 1686 Shallowford Rd, Marietta, GA 30066.
