Rebecca Joyce Holbrooks

Mrs. Rebecca Joyce Holbrooks, 77, of Dawsonville Ga, passed away peacefully on December 31, 2013 following a period of declining health. Born in Atlanta Ga, she was the daughter of Fred and Janie Kinnard. She is predeceased by her brother Billy Kinnard. Rebecca was a loving sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and will be greatly missed by her family and many friends. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Mr. James Robert Holbrooks of Dawsonville Ga; sons Jack Holbrooks of Dawsonville Ga, Danny(Judy) Holbrooks of Dawsonville Ga, and Timothy Wayne(Cindy) Holbrooks of Murrayville Ga; sister Betty Denmark of Hiram Ga; brother Ronald Kinnard of Rootville Ga; grandson Jeremy Leigh Holbrooks of Dahlonega Ga; granddaughter Angelique Holbrooks of Dawsonville Ga, granddaughter Shannon Holbrooks of Dawsonville Ga; great grandsons Timothy Earl and Trevor James Holbrooks of Cumming Ga; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. The family will receive friends on Friday, January 3, 2014 from 5-8 p.m., as well as Saturday, January 4, 2014 from 12:00-2:00 p.m. at Dahlonega Funeral Home in Dahlonega Ga. A chapel service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 4, 2013. Reverend Larry Eubanks will officiate. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens in Cumming, Ga.
