Raymond Joseph Garrison Obituary (1926 - 2012)

Raymond Joseph Garrison, 86, of Dahlonega, GA passed away peacefully at his home on February 2, 2012. Mr. Garrison was born in Englewood NJ on January 18, 1926 to Edmond and Elizabeth (Flotard) Garrison. He was a World War II Veteran and a custom home builder in Lake Valhalla, NJ and Naples, FL. He was a graduate of Farleigh Dickinson College, a member of Son s Of The American Revolution, Masonic Lodge in Naples, and a volunteer for the Meals On Wheels at the Lumpkin County Senior Center. He is survived by his wife Nancy (Howard) Garrison of Dahlonega, GA; son, Ray Garrison Jr of Suwannee, GA; daughter Jill (John) Garqiulo of Woodstock, GA; daughter Jane Garrison of Naples, FL; brother, Mervyn Garrison of Philadelphia, PA; step children Scott & Ebett Cronn, Valpraiso, Indiana, Blaine & Darcie Cronn of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Kathy Cronn of Boyne City, Michigan; six grandchildren and five step grandchildren. Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am at the Dahlonega Methodist Church . Dr. Jeff Ross, Reverend Christy Greenwald, grandson Reverend Paul Irmminger will be officiating. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Hospice of Northeast Georgia & Dahlonega United Methodist Church.
